School Governance

The Board of Directors of Pok Oi Hospital is the School Sponsoring Body and the highest decision-making entity. The Board of Directors has established an Executive Committee, an Education Service Committee and a School Management Committee which hold regular meetings to determine the annual goals and developmental plans, in addition, to provide appropriate support and guidance for the growth of the kindergartens. During the period of adjournment, the Coordinator of Education Service will represent the School Sponsoring Body and the School Management Committee to work corporately with the principals of each school to assist in the implementation of the Educational Ordinance and the laws relating to the supervision and management of kindergarten/child care center and the teaching therein.  

The members of the School Management Committee include the chairman of the Education Service Committee (the school supervisor) of the Board of Directors of Pok Oi Hospital. The school managers are respectively the chairman, vice-chairman and the directors of the Board of Directors. The supervisor and school managers are appointed by the Board of Directors for a term of one year. The Board of Directors agrees that each term expires and members of the School Management Committee can be re-elected.
