Professional communication

The Centre for University-School Partnership of the Faculty of Education of the Chinese University of Hong Kong led kindergarten teachers to our school for professional training

Nearly 40 industry colleagues from the Principal Certificate Programme, led by instructors from the Centre for University-School Partnerships at the Faculty of Education at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, visited our school. Principal Yang presented the school's distinctive curriculum, along with lesson observations and professional exchange sessions, fostering mutual professional growth.

 

The University-School Partnership Centre of the Faculty of Education at the Chinese University of Hong Kong brought teachers from other kindergartens to visit our school. Through the principal's presentation on our curriculum planning, classroom observations, and teachers' sharing of the challenges and gains of implementing positive activities, the visit fostered mutual learning and professional exchange with the industry, promoting the development of positive education.

 

Sister schools and academic exchange activities

Our school held the "Sister School Establishment and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Teacher Exchange and Training Day" on March 27, 2024. On that day, all the school staff went to Shenzhen for exchanges and training, and established a sister school with Shenzhen No. 12 Kindergarten. The school is a public first-level kindergarten in Guangdong Province and one of the first batch of high-quality characteristic demonstration kindergartens in Shenzhen. Through the establishment of exchanges, our school will deepen the knowledge and understanding of early childhood education between the two places and enhance mutual friendship; teachers will promote the professional development of teachers through teaching observation, experience sharing, etc. It is a great honor to invite Zhonglian to this event Yu Yushen, deputy director of the Kowloon Affairs Department, accompanied him to witness the signing ceremony.

 

Visit and exchange activities from Seoul Education Bureau, South Korea

Several public kindergartens from South Jeolla Province, South Korea visited our school. 60 kindergarten principals and teachers from South Korea came to visit and exchange ideas with our school, and learn about the general situation of kindergartens in Hong Kong and the teaching characteristics of our school.

 

The International Kindergarten Association of Namwon City, South Korea, visited our school for an exchange. Through lectures and class observation, they learned about the characteristics of Hong Kong's curriculum and our school's educational philosophy, and shared their educational experiences.

 

The Seoul Education Bureau and the principal of a Korean kindergarten visited our school on July 3, 2014 and May 28, 2015 respectively. Through lectures and class observations, they learned about Hong Kong’s curriculum characteristics and our school’s educational policies, and shared education with each other experience.
