School Governance

The Board of Directors of Pok Oi Hospital is the School Sponsoring Body and the highest decision-making entity. The Board of Directors has established an Executive Committee, an Education Service Committee and a School Management Committee which hold regular meetings to determine the annual goals and developmental plans. In accordance with the Education Ordinance (Chapter 279 of the Laws of Hong Kong) and the Child Care Serives ordinance (Chapter 243 of the Laws of hong Kong), to assist in implementing various educational decisions and managing kindergartens or early childhood learning centre. Also provide appropraite support and guidance for the growth of the kindergartens.

The members of the School Management Committe include the chairman of the Education Service Committee (the school surpervisor) of the Board of Director of Pok Oi Hospital. The school managers are respectively the chairman, vice-chairman and the directors of the Board of Directors. The supervisor and managers are appinted by the Board of Directors for a term of one year. The Board of Directors assents that each term expires and members of the School Management Committee can be re-elected.
