General service:

 

Service Target: Aged 2-6

Service hours: Monday to Friday: 8 am to 6 pm
Saturday: 8 am to 1 pm
   


Extended service

 

Service Target: Provides extended time services for dual-working parents or families with special needs.
Service Hours: Monday to Friday: 6pm to 7pm
Fee: 13HKD per hour (as set by the Social Welfare Department)
Quota: 14 students 

 

Integrated service


Service purpose: To provide training for children with special needs, in order to help them to integrate to the main stream education in the future.
Service features: A special need child care worker will design individual learning plans and group training for children, provides regular speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, clinical psychologist consultation and other services.
Quota: 6 students 

Application Procedure: Referral through the Social Welfare Department Rehabilitation Services Referral System.

Services for non-Chinese speaking (NCS) students

Admission support:Provide bilingual application form. The interview also allow children to be accompained by a Chinese speaking relative/friend during the interview to facilitate communication.

 

Teaching support:The learning documents are attached with English translations. Appropriate teaching strategies are used to cater for the needs of children and achieve the goal of children’s learning diversity.

Social Work Service for Children in School
In order to identify and support preschool children who are in need and their families as early as possible, the Social Welfare Department formally launched " Pilot Scheme on Social Work Service for Pre-Primary Institutions " .
Our school cooperates with the Hong Kong Youth Service to provide social work services for preschool children in the form of a pilot project.
Service goals ~ 1) Early identification of children and their family members in potential crisis, and immediate referral
Enrollment, counseling, referral and other services.
2) Work with the school to cultivate children's positive emotions and strengthen their resilience
Power and problem-solving ability.
3) Organize parenting groups and seminars to strengthen parents' understanding of children's needs at different stages.
4) Strengthen parent-child relationship and communication, and strengthen family relationship.
5) Support teachers to identify and intervene children's needs and provide professional advice.
